The HP Pavilion x360 13-a110dx is a modern 2-in-1 convertible laptop with an affordable price tag of below $450. This 13.3-incher has a fully foldable design, so you can use it as a clamshell laptop, tablet, or multimedia & presentation stands.

Usually, 2-in-1 PCs are premium-class devices, but that doesn’t apply to the x360 13 series. High-end features such as Full HD display resolution, IPS technology for wide viewing angles, keyboard backlight, and aluminum casing are missing. Instead, the device has a 720p 1366×768 screen resolution and plastic chassis.

13-a110dx 2

Computing performance-wise, the Pavilion X360 13-a110dx won’t win any speed awards, but it can keep the average user happy. It is based on the lower-mid-range Intel Core i3-5010U dual-core processor with the Intel HD 5500 integrated graphics. The CPU ensures flawless day-to-day work and enough muscle for low-end gaming. Almost every budget laptop on the market has 4GB of system memory, capacious enough for all multitasking scenarios of the home and office user, and a 500GB hard drive. HP’s 13-a110dx isn’t an exception. Unfortunately, RAM, HDD, battery, and other parts are sealed inside the chassis and are Authorized Service Provider components, meaning users are not allowed to upgrade or replace these themselves.

The convertible notebook has stereo speakers, a 720p web camera, Wi-Fi 802.11AC wireless, Ethernet LAN, and Bluetooth connections, two USB 3.0 and one USB 2.0 connectors, HDMI video output jack, and an SD media card reader.

It weighs in at four pounds and is 0.8″ thick.

The battery life lasts up to “6.25 hours”, according to Hewlett-Packard.
