Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon 2015 Ultrathin Business Laptop PC

The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon 2015 Edition is the flagship ThinkPad X-series model for this year. The notebook packs a 14-inch screen and many business-class features in a 2.9 pound chassis made of carbon-fiber. It is extremely light for a 14-incher and is quite thin, too, measuring 0.7″ in profile. The Thinkpad X1 Carbon for 2015 is based on the brand new Intel Core “Broadwell” processor family. The display has high 2560×1440-pixel maximal resolution and relies on the Intel HD integrated graphics. Optional touchscreen functionality accompanies the backlit keyboard, touchpad, and TrackPoint pointing stick for interaction with software and data input. As for system memory and storage, the X1 comes with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 512GB solid state storage.

Other important features are a webcam, stereo speakers, Wi-Fi, Ethernet LAN, Bluetooth, and optional 3G/4G mobile broadband connections, mini DisplayPort and VGA video connectors, and three USB 3.0 jacks.

The ThinkPad X1 2015 is claimed to last up to 10.9 hours on a single charge.
