Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 with Windows 10-Inch
The Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 with Windows 10-Inch is a bigger brother of the Yoga Tablet 2 with Windows 8″. Display size and overall dimensions and weight are the main differences between these two slates. They feature a bit unusual but very functional design with a kickstand and cylindrical battery. The built-in kickstand enables use of the device as a classic tablet or as a stand. You can hang it on the wall, too.
As another difference, the 10-inch version includes a keyboard dock which is missing on the smaller model, so if you’re more into productivity than simple content consumption the 10″ is the way to go.
Both, however, offer some premium-class features you can’t find on majority of other Windows tablets. Primarily, their displays boast Full HD 1920×1200 resolution. The panel includes IPS technology, so you can expect wide viewing angles. Furthermore, above-average stereo front-firing speakers have large chambers and are enhanced by Dolby Audio technology. The tablet excels in the camera department, too. Specifically, the rear shooter. It has an 8-megapixel sensor, auto-focus, and a bright f/2.2 lens. The frontal camera is at 1.6MP.
As for internal components, the Yoga Tablet 2 machines belong to the lower-end of the Windows PC spectrum. They are based on the Intel Atom Bay Trail Z3745 processor, 2GB of RAM memory, and 32GB of internal storage, expandable with additional 64GB via the built-in microSD card slot. Power autonomy of the 10-incher is provided by a capacious 3-cell 9600 mAh battery, good for “up to 15 hours” of battery life.
For internet connectivity, there are 802.11n Wi-Fi wireless and Bluetooth. For external displays, there’s a micro HDMI video connector which is missing on the 8″ model. As expected, micro USB and audio port are present.
The 10″ Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 with Windows 10-inch weighs 1.4 pounds without the keyboard dock, up from 0.9 of the smaller version.
