The American PC maker Systemax today announced its first Intel Core 2 Duo-powered laptop. The 15.4-inch widescreen Systemax Pursuit has starting price of $999.99, according to the Mobile Magazine.
Along with Core 2 Duo T5500 at 1.66Ghz, Systemax Pursuit comes with 1024MB PC4200 DDR2 of main memory, 80GB SATA hard drive, DVD burner and the Intel’s Integrated Extreme Graphics 2. It also has integrated 1.3 Megapixel Camera, and comes with Windows XP Professional.
Although we weren’t able to find info about which chipset Core 2 Duo Systemax Pursuit use, Intel’s site says the Extreme Graphics 2 comes with the Intel 865G, 865GV, 855GM, 855GME and 852GME chipsets. These chipsets are part of the first Intel Centrino platform, codenamed Carmel, launched in March 2003.
