Asus VivoTab Note 8 M80TAThe Asus VivoTab Note 8 (M80TA) is a newly revealed 8-inch Windows 8 tablet with the Intel Atom Bay Trail processor, pen input support, and an affordable starting price of $300.

The Intel Atom Atom Z3740 quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM memory, 32GB or 64GB internal storage capacity, and a free copy of Microsoft Office 2013 Home and Student edition are characteristics of the 8-inch Windows 8 affordable tablets. The Asus VivoTab Note 8 M80TA doesn’t stand out when it comes to the main specs, but it’s the first of its kind with Wacom’s digitizer pen input technology. We assume it’s optional, because it’s hard to imagine it’s a standard feature at the $300 price point. Dell was the first to introduce pen support in this tablet category, but its Venue 8 uses Synaptics pen (which hasn’t received good reviews), instead of Wacom.
