CompAmerica Released 20-Inch Tiger Shark 9500 x2 Laptop

CompAmerica today released Tiger Shark 9500 x2, the “Extreme Gamers / Extreme Cad Cam / Extreme Multimedia Laptop” featuring 20-inch widescreen with 1680 x 1050 resolution. For gamers there is dual SLI nVidia GeForce Go 7950 GT graphics option, while for modeling and engineering there is dual SLI nVidia Quadro FX Go 2500M, both with 2X512MB of DDR3 video memory in SLI mode. The notebook is powered by AMD Turion 64 X2 dual core processor and has built-in four-speaker audio system with subwoofer.

Tiger Shark 9500 x2 supports up to 2048MB of DDR2 main memory and comes with up to 120GB SATA hard drive and a DVD burner.

Regarding Internet and connectivity, the new Tiger Shark has integrated 802.11a/b/g wireless, Bluetooth, Gigabit Ethernet LAN and a 56K Fax/Modem. For video conferencing there is built-In 1.3 mega-pixels web-cam mounted on the top of the laptops screen panel.

Tiger Shark 9500 x2 has variety of ports and slots, including five USB ports, a PCMCIA slot, a DVI video port, S-video input and output, 8-channel external audio output, an IEEE1394 FireWire, a serial port, as same as built-In 7-in-1 flash memory card reader.

The laptop’s large screen enabled the full size keyboard with numeric keypad to be incorporated. The notebook’s size also allows an optional built-in TV tuner.

Tiger Shark 9500 x2 weights 15 lbs, and has a starting price of $3740 when configured with dual GeForce Go 7950 cards or $4257 with dual Quadro FX Go 2500M.
