ToshibaToshiba has revealed a prototype of an ultra-mobile PC with a 5.6-inch touchscreen display, Intel’s Atom processor, a 64GB solid state drive, and GPS receiver.

PC Authority reports the keyboard in the device is ditched in favour of a touchscreen keyboard.

Toshiba’s UMPC prototype runs Windows Vista OS.

Sounds promising…. except for the Vista OS part.

Hope they load the new Ubuntu Netbook Remix.
