Check out ipodmods.com for detailed installation instructions to add this HDD to the zune. There’s some slight alteration required, but nothing too complicated.

Zunes can fit the larger drives, you just need to remove the harddrive cage.

I don’t see any reason why it wouldn’t work for a Zune but it requires extra space for the hard drive just as a 30 gb 5th gen ipod would. the back case of a 60 or 80gb ipod don’t require a case upgrade and I don’t know if there are larger cases available for zunes…thanks microsoft…
