Toshiba Portege M400-S4032 Tablet PCToshiba announced the Toshiba Portege M400-S4032 Tablet PC with integrated high-speed Evolution Data Optimized (EVDO) technology for Verizon Wireless Broadband Access service.

The availability of EVDO technology makes the Toshiba Portege M400-S4032 the ideal mobile computing solution for healthcare, insurance, real estate and other highly mobile industries requiring access to data away from the office and Wi-Fi hot spots.

Toshiba cleanly integrated the WWAN technology and maintained the original form factor of the Toshiba Portege M400-S4032, by building the EVDO hardware directly into the existing chassis. With the technology seamlessly integrated users will not have worry about damaging a protruding antenna. A durable and balanced tool that is comfortable to hold, carry and use, the Toshiba Portege M400-S4032 weighs approximately 4.5 pounds and comes with a six-cell battery.

Toshiba offers an optional six-cell Slice Expansion battery to further enhance computing time.
