Toshiba has launched the Qosmio X305-Q708 17-inch gaming laptop, featuring Intel’s quad-core processor and two NVIDIA video cards.
Along with the Intel Core 2 Extreme QX9300 CPU at 2.53GHz and dual NVIDIA GeForce 9800M GTS 512MB SLI GPUs, the X305-Q708 includes 4GB of DDR3 system memory, a 128GB solid state drive and a 320GB 7200rpm hard drive, and a DVD burner. The display has a resolution of 1440×900 pixels.
Toshiba’s new gaming notebook model sports four harman/kardon stereo speakers with subwoofer, a 1.3MP web camera, HDMI, DisplayPort, and VGA outputs, as well as an Atheros 802.11b/g/n wireless module, Gigabit Ethernet LAN port, 56k modem, and Bluetooth.
There are also four USB ports (one shared USB/eSATA), an ExpressCard slot, a 5-in-1 media card reader, and Firewire.
The laptop weighs starting at 9 pounds with a 8-cell battery and features a “fiery” Fusion finish with Rogue design.
The Toshiba Qosmio X305-Q708 runs 64-bit Windows Vista operating system and is available now for $4,199.99 at the Toshiba website.
