Thanks to all the posts in the many Computer forums, and particularly the posts here in LAPTOPING. The knowledge dredged from all your posts and direction to the Rapidshare link posted in this forum. I now have a Satellite A135-S4467 XP OS that is fast, familiar, and all functions go.

Ignore my post of the 21st above. This post is conformation, I figured out the answer to my question. Thanks to all.

I formatted and installed win xp sp3 on a toshiba A135-s4457. Like everyone else, I was left without drivers. This page is the only page where I was able to find a workable solution. Thanks to all those who posted previously! I first started by trying to find each driver individually for the A135-s4467, which was an exercise in frustration and involved a lot of cursing Toshiba for their total lack of customer support and refusal to support the personalization of their products. I will NEVER buy Toshiba. EVER.

I decided to try the download package zip file listed above for the A135-s4427 after having exhausted all other options for my specific model. Here is the link again:
http://rapidshare.com/files/31883631/Satellite-A135-S4427_xp_drivers.zip.html

This driver package is great and worked perfectly. Be sure to install each file in the order listed (1,2,3,etc.). This should solve all driver problems for A135-s4457 running xp and in my case, xp sp3. Thanks again, to those who posted previously.

After doing many things carefully, finally, I can run XP SP2 on my f**king Toshiba A135-S4407! But I have some terrible troubles. I cannot use Internet or Network seamlessly! When I download by P2P, or Upload large files (>1MB), it's stop working, I just press Power button!
And another problem, that is when my battery is fully-charged, if I disconnect the adapter, my screen flash continuously!
Please help me, my e-mail: mxiixm@yahoo.com

Hi everybody. I have a very naive question: can I use the drivers made for A-135 4427model on the A-135 4447 one? Coz the later is my machine model. Thanx in advance. Oh by the ways, Vista is really awful.

Toshiba sucks with it's policy of not releasing drivers for WindowsXP! When one manage to find the drivers on google either they don't work very well or not all the functions are activated!

Did anyone managed to make all the FN Keys work on Windows XP SP2? Specially the brightness control keys?

I have a A135-S4427 for about 6 months now and I still can't make everything work on WindowsXP. Can anybody tell me what the toshiba support e-mail is? Please send the reply to raursfr@gmail.com

Thanks for any help!

Hello people,

I had the same problem with my A135-4467. Exactelly the same behavior that you described above. I solved this problem reinstalling same drivers (It is a driver problem! It is not a dual core problem!). I think that is the sound driver, but I am not totaly sure about it. I downloaded the "Satellite-A135-S4427_xp_drivers.zip" zip file. I do not remenber the link the I got it. Please try to find this name in google search.

Good look!
