Toshiba Satellite A305-S6834 - First A300/A305 Model

The Toshiba Satellite A305-S6834, the first notebook in the redesigned Satellite A300/A305 15.4-inch series, is now available for purchase.

Priced at $869.99, the Satellite A305-S6834 features the Intel Core 2 Duo T5550 processor at 1.83GHz, the Graphics Media Accelerator X3100, 3GB of DDR2 memory, a 200GB hard drive at 4,200rpm, DVD burner, built-in web camera with face-recognition function, and harman/kardon stereo speakers. A 15.4″ display in this laptop has a resolution of 1280-by-800 pixels.

Regarding connectivity, there are the Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG (802.11a/b/g) module, Ethernet LAN, and a 56k modem.

The Toshiba Satellite A305-S6834 also has four USB ports with Sleep and Charge functionality, an ExpressCard slot, 5-in-1 media card reader, Firewire port, shared S/P DIF/headphone port and VGA and S-video outputs.

This 6-pound notebook PC has the new Fusion finish with Horizon pattern and touch-sensitive multimedia buttons.
