Toshiba’s first 3D laptop, the Satellite A665-3DV, is now available in the US.
Besides NVIDIA 3D VISION technology, which includes 3D software, 3D-ready display, and active shutter glasses, the Toshiba Satellite A665-3DV features the new Intel Core i7-740QM quad-core processor, NVIDIA GeForce GTS 350M 1GB dedicated graphics, 4GB DDR3 memory, a 640GB hard drive, a Blu-ray combo optical disk, and a screen resolution of 1366×768 pixels.
The A665-3DV sports harman/kardon stereo speakers, Dolby Advanced Audio technology, built-in webcam and mic, HDMI and VGA outputs, 802.11n Wi-Fi, Gigabit Ethernet, Bluetooth, three USB ports and an eSATA/USB combo port, an ExpressCard slot, a multi-in-one media card reader, and a backlit keyboard.
With its standard 12-cell battery, the 3D laptop starts at 6.4lbs and provides a battery life of up to 4 hours and 25 minutes.
It has the Fusion X2 Finish in Charcoal color and runs Windows 7 Home Premium operating system.
The Toshiba Satellite A665-3DV can be purchased now via the notebook maker’s online store for $1,600.
Update: Toshiba has also started offering the new Satellite T200 Series ultraportables, Satellite L600 and C600 mainstream notebooks, and A600 Series entertainment laptops.
