Toshiba Satellite P100-ST9742 Gaming Notebook Available

Toshiba today announced Satellite P100-ST9742, the new model in company’s 17-inch widescreen P100 gaming notebook series. Toshiba Satellite P100-ST9742 features Intel Core 2 Duo T7200 processor at 2GHz and NVIDIA GeForce Go 7900 GTX graphics card with 512MB GDDR3 video memory and DVI-D output port for connecting to an HDTV.

The new gaming notebook comes with 2GB of main memory and 100GB SATA hard drive spinning at 7200rpm.

Based on Intel 945PM Express Chipset, Toshiba Satellite P100-ST9742 has PRO/Wireless Network Connection 3945ABG, as same as LAN, 56K modem, four USB ports, RGB out, S-Video out, DVI-D and i.LINK IEEE-1394.

The Satellite P100-ST9742 weights 7.1lbs with 9-cell battery, providing up to 2.6 hours of continuous work between charges.

The Windows Vista Premium Ready P100-ST9742 currently ships with Windows XP Professional OS.
