Toshiba has re-launched the Satellite Pro low-cost business notebook brand by introducing the 15.4-inch A210-EZ2203X and A200-EZ2204X models.
Priced at $899, the Toshiba Satellite Pro A210-EZ2203X configuration features the AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-602 dual-core processor at 2GHz, the AMD M690V chipset with the integrated ATI Radeon X1200 graphics, 2GB of DDR2 system memory, and 802.11b/g wireless LAN.
The Satellite Pro A200-EZ2204X, which costs $999, is based on the Intel GM965 chipset with the GMA X3100 integrated graphics, and features the Core 2 Duo T7250 CPU at 2GHz, 1GB of DDR2 RAM, and a 802.11a/b/g wireless module.
Both models come with a 120GB hard drive at 5,400rpm and a DVD burner. The notebooks’ 15.4″ widescreen display provides 1280×800 native resolution.
The Satellite Pro A210-EZ2203X and A200-EZ2204X have Ethernet LAN and 56K modem connections, four USB ports, an ExpressCard slot , a bridge media adapter, and a Firewire port. For video output, there are S-Video and VGA ports.
The new Satellite Pro laptops start at 5.9 pounds and have the Onyx Blue lid. These PCs ship with Windows XP Professional operating system and are available via Toshiba’s online store.
