Toshiba Launches Satellite Pro S300/S300M Business Laptops

Toshiba has announced the 15.4-inch Satellite Pro S300 and 14.1-inch Satellite Pro S300M business laptops, based on the latest Intel Centrino 2 technology.

The available Satellite S300 and S300M models come with the new Intel Core 2 Duo processors, GMA 4500MHD integrated graphics, 2GB or 3GB of DDR2 RAM, up to 250GB of hard drive space, and a DVD burner. Both notebooks provide a screen resolution of 1280-by-800 pixels.

There are also the Intel Wi-Fi Link 5100AGN wireless module, Gigabit Ethernet and 56K modem connections, Bluetooth and a fingerprint reader in select models, and three USB ports (one shared USB/eSATA) with Sleep and Charge feature. The laptops have Firewire, Serial, and VGA ports, a PC Card slot, and multi-format media card readers.

The Toshiba Satellite S300 / S300M laptops start 6.2lbs and 5.38lbs respectively and run Windows Vista operating system.

With a 2-year standard standard limited warranty, the basic S300 configuration is priced at $829, while the base S300M system costs $899.
