Toshiba today announced the Satellite R25-S3513 Tablet PC with Intel Core 2 Duo Mobile (Merom) processor. Toshiba Satellite R25-S3513 offers the Intel Core 2 Duo T5200 CPU (1.60GHz, 2MB L2, 533MHz FSB), which isn’t officially introduced by Intel yet.
The 14.1-inch widescreen R25-S3513 has 1GB of memory, a 100GB SATA hard drive spinning at 5400rpm, and a DVD Double Layer burner.
Based on Mobile Intel 945GM Express Chipset, Toshiba Satellite R25-S3513 incorporates Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950 with 8MB-128MB dynamically allocated shared graphics memory and Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG (802.11a/b/g).
Regarding ports and slots, R25-S3513 has 4 USB ports, RGB output, TV-Out port, headphone and microphone ports, RJ-45 LAN port, RJ-11modem port, and i-LINK. It also features 5-in-1 Bridge Media Adapter (Secure Digital, Memory Stick, Memory Stick PRO, Multi Media Card, xD Picture Card) and PCMCIA PC Card slot.
Toshiba Satellite R25-S3513 tablet PC weights around 5.95 lbs with 6-cell battery, and it comes with Microsoft Windows XP Tablet Edition 2005.
The PC has Toshiba’s new LifeSmart Technology, which includes HDD shock absorption, a spill resistant keyboard, and a durable chassis to help protect the internal components.
This Windows Vista Premium Ready Tablet PC’s estimated price starts at $1,500. It is currently available from major consumer electronics and computer stores nationwide.
