Voodoo ENVY M:152Hewlett-Packard today introduced the Voodoo ENVY M:152 15.4-inch notebook PC, featuring the Intel “Santa Rosa” mobile platform, and the NVIDIA’s dedicated graphics.

Starting at approximately $3,300, the ENVY M:152 is configurable with the Intel Core 2 Duo T7700, T7500 or T7300 processor. The HP’s press release says this laptop “supports” the Intel Core 2 Extreme X7800 CPU, which is not available as an option. The M:152’s 15.4″ widescreen display with a 1680×1050 resolution and a matte finish is managed by the NVIDIA GeForce 8600GT GPU, supporting DirectX 10 gaming.

The Voodoo ENVY M:152 comes with 1GB or 2GB of DDR2 memory, while the system’s maximum is 4GB. This notebook ships with up to 200GB SATA hard drive at 7200rpm rotational speed, or a 250GB unit at 5400rpm, as well as with a DVD burner.

Networking features include the Intel Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN card, an Ethernet LAN, a 56K modem, and a built-in Bluetooth module, while for video conferencing there is an embedded 2-megapixel web camera.

The 7-pound ENVY M:152 provides various paint and tattoo choices and comes with Windows Vista or Windows XP operating system preinstalled.
