PCWorld.com – WinBook T230
The WinBook T230’s balance of weight and screen size makes it an easy notebook to carry around, and it is reasonably priced at $1299 (as of May 18, 2006). It has a large hard drive, too. Unfortunately, short battery life prevents it from being the perfect travel companion.
WinBook T230
Just looking at the specifications of the WinBook T230 thin and light notebook, it doesn’t appear too different from many others. It is powered by the popular Intel Core Duo T2300 mobile processor. This provides a good amount of performance while still providing good battery life. In fact, during the battery rundown test using DVD playback, the system was able to run a full two hours and five minutes before the automatic suspend kicked in. While not as high as some smaller systems using the Core Solo low voltage CPUs, it is still respectable.
