Laptop bag makers Skooba Design, Brenthaven, and CODi have announced their new cases that are x-ray friendly.

The product announcements come after the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) published it is planning to phase-in new security protocols beginning late summer/early fall 2008. The new rules will allow these x-ray friendly bags to be screened with the laptop inside.
Brenthaven has already updated its Edge lineup with the new bags that are suited to the new security protocols. Checkpoint friendly notebook cases by Skooba Design, and CODi will be launched late summer/early fall.
