Dell Inspiron Mini 10 Available for Purchase, Starts at $399

Dell Inspiron Mini 10The Dell Inspiron Mini 10 10.1-inch netbook is now available for purchase on Dell.com, with a preliminary ship date of 04/02/2009.

According to the product page, the 2.86-pound Mini 10 comes with the Intel Atom Z520 1.33GHz or Atom Z530 1.6GHZ processor, Intel’s Poulsbo chipset with the GMA 500 integrated graphics, 1GB of DDR2 memory, a 120GB or 160GB hard drive, 3-cell battery, and Windows XP Home OS. The seamless display has a 16:9 aspect ratio, 1024×576 resolution, LED backlight, and glossy finish.

The netbook also includes a a 92%-sized keyboard, 1.3-megapixel web camera, stereo speakers, an HDMI connector, 802.11g or 802.11a/g/n WiFi module, Bluetooth, Ethernet LAN port, and 3-in-1 media card reader, as well as two USB ports and one Power USB port.

The PC maker says the following Inspiron Mini 10 features will be available at a later date:

– HD capabilities – optional 720p Hi-def 10.1¨ seamless display.
– More Storage – optional 2GB memory and optional 250GB hard drive.
– Optionally embedded GPS navigation and WWAN support.
– 6-cell battery for an approximate battery life of 6.5 hours .
– Internal digital TV tuner.

The Dell Inspiron Mini 10 is available in six colors: black, white, green, blue, pink, and red. The PC maker says it will be also available in 5 artist designs.

It starts at $399.

  1. mh no i don’t think that this will happen…computers these days have enogh power to handle all these processes at a similiar time

  2. My only concern (and it’s minor) is that the TV tuner will require tons of HDD space and processing power, something this is likely not to have. Even so, this looks like the netbook to have.
