Today we spotted an updated HP Pavilion dm4 laptop model with an upcoming Ivy Bridge processor from Intel. The Intel Core i7-3612QM-powered HP Pavilion dm4-3110tx Beats Edition is already on sale in China. The product page has a working “Buy” button, which adds the laptop to the chart, so this is probably the first Ivy Bridge notebook available for purchase.

Besides the quad-core i7 processor instead of up to dual-core “Sandy Bridge” i7, the offered 14-inch dm4 Beats Edition has received another update in form of the AMD Radeon HD 7570M 1GB GDDR5 dedicated video card, whereas older models are selling with the Radeon 7470M or Intel HD IGP only. The screen resolution on the particular model is 1366×768, whereas some other dm4 notebooks have a 1600×900 screen. HDD capacity is 750GB and included RAM is 4GB, while the optical drive is a DVD burner.

The music-centric Beats Audio-braned laptop sports a chassis made of black aluminum and has Triple Bass Reflex subwoofer, a chiclet keyboard with red backlight, 720p web cam, two USB 3.0 ports, HDMI, Bluetooth, and a fingerprint reader, alongside a USB 2.0 connector, VGA port, and a multi-format media card reader.

The price for the dm4-3110tx Beats is 6,799 Chinese Yuan and that’s about 1,070 US dollars.
