The Acer Predator 17 G9-791(-735A, -78CE, -79Y3, -73ZW) is a high-end 17.3-inch gaming notebook with either Full HD or Ultra HD display resolution, Nvidia’s top-notch graphics processor, a fast Intel i7 quad-core processor, capacious system memory and storage space, and Windows 10 Home operating system.

The Predator 17 G9-791 is available in four configurations. In general, you can have a basic 17.3″ screen with Full HD 1920×1080-pixel resolution, a panel with additional IPS technolgy, or an Ultra HD 3840×2160 IPS variant. For running games and computing, responsible are the Nvidia GeForce GTX 970M 3GB or GTX 980M 4GB video card, with help of the 6th Generation “Skylake” Intel Core i7-6700HQ fast quad-core processor. They are combined with 16 or 32 Gigabytes of DDR4 system memory, a mechanical 1-Terabyte 7200 rpm hard drive storage, plus up to 512GB solid state storage. Furthermore, the notebook features an optical drive bay, carrying a DVD writer or Blu-ray player / DVD writer combo. The bay can be also used for additional cooling to help the built-in dual-fan system, by replacing the optical drive with a Cooler Master fan.

For data input, the Predator 17 features a keyboard with customizable backlight, programmable keys, dedicated macro keys, and a trackpad with physically separated click buttons.

Audio is delivered through a beefed-up TrueHarmony Premium sound system with four speakers, two subwoofers, and Dolby Audio surround technology. For video chats, the laptop includes a 720p web camera.

Networking on the Acer Predator 17 G9-791(-735A, -78CE, -79Y3, -73ZW) is enabled via 802.11AC wireless and Gigabit LAN network interfaces, whcih can work simultaneously to reduce in-game lags to the minimum.
