HP 15-bs289wm Laptop (15.6″ Touch, Intel Pentium Silver N5000 CPU, UHD 605 IGP, 4GB RAM, 1TB HDD, Jet Black) – Walmart Black Friday
The HP 15-bs289wm is an affordable yet decently-equipped laptop with a 15.6″ touchscreen. The touch display has a basic HD-class picture resolution (sharpness) and TN-class narrow viewing angles. Inside its plastic “Jet Black” chassis, the HP 15-bs289wm packs an entry-level Intel Pentium Silver N5000 quad-core processor with basic Intel UHD 605 integrated graphics processor, a modest 4GB RAM size, and a spacious but slow 1-Terabyte hard drive.
HP claims the 15-bs289wm can provide a battery life of up to 7 hours with mixed computer usage.
Overall, if you want a cheap touch-screen laptop for the day-to-day computing chores and you are not a hard-core gamer, videographer, or photo editor, the HP 15-bs289wm can be good choice for you. Granted, the notebook lacks some features of pricier laptops, such as sharp Full HD resolution, IPS wide viewing angles, fast SSD storage, and keyboard backlight. Furthermore, the included Pentium Silver N5000 processor with 4GB RAM doesn’t provide perfectly snappy Windows experience like with the popular Intel Core i3/i5/i7 series chips with now-standard 8GB RAM. But the 15-bs289wm is a great notebook PC if you take into consideration its 2018 Black Friday price of only $260 at Walmart.

4 out of 5 Good value for your money

I really recommend it if youre looking for a budget laptop its good value for good money ive had one almost a year now and its really good just not meant for playing high end games if you’re into that kind of stuff or video editing either, but Photoshop 2016 and Lightroom 2016 work a decent amount on it and Filmora8.5 is also a good editing app that runs well on it. If youre a fifa gamer then dont bother purchasing but PES 2017 downwards works well on it and Pes 2019 is able to run to but a lot of lag, a ram upgrade should fix that just fine. Plus i got mine for a much expensive price @$400 so its a good buy if you ask me trust me you’ll love the storage youre working with. Basically its a good laptop for a student

Two years ago I bought a computer hp 15- bs289wn in Jamiaca, to work on a doctorate, it presented problems exactly two years after working with it, the technicians say that it presents problems on one of the motherboard cards, I would like to know How much does it cost me to buy a motherboard, being the main component, it seems that it is its Achilles foot

I’ve checked online and it can be found for around $150.

First off, Abandon this trash and ignore the fake good ratings, My first laptop from 2012 for about the same price functioned better than this. this should be criminal to sell, it took over 20 hours for me to reset, reinstall windows, go through the updates, and get it up and running. It has 2 slots for memory but they only put in 1 stick of ram, making it constantly be up around 60 – 90 ram usage, Has bloatware for no real good reason, HDD usage is constantly 100% for opening anything, cpu is too dang slow for the year it was released, this is highway robbery and a scam of a laptop. DO NOT BUY.
