The Acer Aspire 1 A114-31-C4HH<\/strong> is among the cheapest Windows-based laptops on the market. For a regular price of only $220, the 14-inch A114-31-C4HH offers a Full HD 1920×1080-pixel display<\/a>. That’s a stand out feature among budget notebooks. They usually have a less sharp HD 1366\u00d7768 resolution. Furthermore, the A114-31-C4HH has an entry-level Intel Celeron N3450 processor, 4GB of main system memory, and 32GB of Flash memory-based eMMC storage. These are standard features in the $200 price range.<\/p>\n

The components are packed in a simplistic plastic chassis with cross-hair brush pattern on the base and textured lid. Nevertheless, with its 0.7\u2033 slim profile the laptop has a sleek shape. It is also quite light with a weight of 3.3 pounds, so portability is one of the strengths of this laptop. The same applies to noise levels, since the Acer Aspire 1 has no cooling fans.<\/p>\n

For manipulating Windows 10 Home operating system and applications you can use the laptop’s chiclet keyboard and multitouch trackpad with “mouse” buttons integrated in the surface.<\/p>\n

The Intel Celeron N3450 processor used in the Acer Aspire 1 A114-31-C4HH is a low-end quad-core processor. It is capable of managing your daily computing chores without annoying lags. The N3450 achieves roughly twice better results in benchmarks than a typical dual-core Celeron like N3050. However, for anything more demanding than the basic home and office computing, you\u2019ll have to invest in a laptop with a better CPU, such as the Intel Core i3, i5, and i7 series. On the positive side, the N3450 runs very cool and has low power consumption, so it enabled fanless design of the laptop and a better battery life. RAM<\/a> memory size of 4GB isn’t a limiting factor when it comes to common multi-tasking scenarios. As for included 32GB of eMMC storage<\/a>, it\u2019s quite cramped for today\u2019s PC standards. With Windows taking up around half of that space, you end up with only around 15GB available for your files and installed programs. Thankfully, the laptop features an SD memory card reader, so you can put an SD card in and use it as an additional storage device.<\/p>\n

The Acer Aspire 1 A114-31-C4HH has stereo speakers, a basic VGA web camera, 802.11AC Wi-Fi wireless and Bluetooth connections, one USB 3.0 and two USB 2.0 ports, HDMI video output, the afforementioned SD media card reader, and a combo microphone \/ headphones audio port.<\/p>\n
