The Acer Aspire E 15 E5-576G-5762<\/strong> is a 15.6″ laptop with a great performance \/ price ratio. For around $600, the E5-576G-5762 packs the excellent 8th Gen Intel Core i5-8250U<\/a> quad-core processor and a dedicated video card. It’s the Nvidia GeForce MX150<\/a> with 2GB of dedicated video memory. The MX150 is a lower-end dedicated GPU, but it is much better for gaming and other GPU-intensive tasks than the Intel HD integrated graphics of the i5-8250U chip. Furthermore, the laptop comes with decently sized RAM of 8 Gigabytes and fast solid state drive data storage with a 256GB capacity. The display specification isn’t a letdown, too. It’s a sharp 15.6″ Full HD panel with IPS wide viewing angles.<\/p>\n

Other important specs worth mentioning are a backlight keyboard, built-in DVD burner, stereo speakers, an HD web camera, Wi-Fi 802.11AC wireless LAN, Ethernet LAN, and Bluetooth connections, two USB 3.0 ports, a USB 2.0 port, and a compact USB-C 3.1 connector, HDMI and VGA video outs, an SD memory card reader, and a combo mic\/headphones jack.<\/p>\n

Acer claims the battery life is “up to 15 hours”, but that’s probably measured with very little computing load and with lowered screen brightness. Judging by the quite decent 2800 mAh battery capacity of the notebook, with normal laptop usage the battery should last around half of that. Gaming on dedicated graphics further shortens the battery life.<\/p>\n

The Acer Aspire E 15 E5-576G-5762 weighs in at 5.3 pounds and comes with Windows 10 Home operating system.<\/p>\n

Overall, the notebook offers excellent bang for the buck, despite having budget-class plastic chassis.<\/p>\n
