The HP Pavilion 15t 3BC70AV_1<\/strong> is a typical mid-range 15.6-inch laptop PC. This is a configurable Pavilion 15t model for 2018.<\/p>\n

Starting at around $550, the aluminum-topped 15t 3BC70AV_1 offers either an entry-level HD 1366-by-768-pixel TN screen or a sharper Full HD 1920-by-1080 panel with IPS wide viewing angles. On the latter variant, there’s a touch-screen option as well. The laptop optionally provides keyboard backlight and is available with either “mineral silver” or “sapphire blue” display lid.<\/p>\n

At the time of this writing, the 3BC70AV_1 is available only with the mid-tier yet powerful 8th Gen Intel Core i5-8250U<\/a> processor. It is an excellent chip for home and office duties. With its quad-core design, the CPU is also suitable for heavier duties like video editing. The notebook comes with up to 16GB of RAM via dual RAM slots, and a 1-Terabyte hard drive as the basic storage option. When configuring the laptop, the 1TB HDD storage can be expanded using an additional much faster solid state drive with 128GB or 256GB capacity or enhanced using Intel Optane 16GB memory which makes HDD storage run faster. As for gaming and graphics processing, customers can choose either the basic Intel UHD 620<\/a> integrated graphics or faster but still entry-level AMD Radeon 530 2GB dedicated video card. Furthermore, the 4.7-pound HP Pavilion 15t 3BC70AV_1 features a built-in DVD writer optical drive and a 41 WHr battery. That’s a medium battery capacity in the 15.6″ notebook category. Nevertheless, HP claims the battery can last up to 9 hours on this model.<\/p>\n
