The Lenovo IdeaPad L340 15 Gaming<\/strong>, also known as the L340-15IRH<\/strong>, is Lenovo’s cheapest gaming laptop model. Starting at around $750, the IdeaPad L340 15 Gaming features a 15.6-inch display, mid-range Nvidia GeForce gaming video card options, powerful Intel Core H-series processors, and a backlit keyboard.<\/p>\n

The 15.6-inch screen of the L340 15 Gaming delivers sharp Full HD resolution and optional IPS-class wide viewing angles. The screen and game rendering are powered by either the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050<\/a> 3GB or Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650<\/a> 4GB graphics card. Graphics performance benchmarks show a considerable advantage of the GTX 1650 over the GTX 1050 series. Therefore, opting in for the pricier GTX 1650 is a good investment if game rendering smoothness is a priority for you. Both are, however, only mid-range gaming video cards or more precisely lower-mid-range. This means you won’t be able to play every game on the highest graphics detail settings and high resolutions. But, they are still generally good for gaming on medium graphics detail settings or high settings if the game title is a light one.<\/p>\n

As for the main processor, Lenovo offers the 9th Generation Intel Core i5-9300H<\/a> with four cores or Core i7-9750H<\/a> with six. Both processors are near the top of benchmark charts. They can easily satisfy computational needs of the latest video games. Furthermore, they are excellent choice for general hardware-demanding computing tasks, like video production or professional photography editing. <\/p>\n

The Lenovo IdeaPad L340 15 Gaming comes with 8GB or 16GB of main system memory (RAM). Both sizes are sufficient for everyday multitasking, but the 16GB option is recommended for comfortable playing of RAM-intensive game titles. As for storage, the notebook ships with either a spacious 1-Terabyte hard drive or with faster solid state drive storage with capacity of up to 512GB. <\/p>\n

The IdeaPad L340 15 Gaming features a 45 Whr battery. 45 Whr isn’t overly capacious, especially given that the included processing and graphics components aren’t among the battery-savvy ones. Anyway, Lenovo claims the notebook can provide “up to 5.5 hours” of battery life.<\/p>\n
