The Dell Latitude 14 7000 (E7440)<\/strong> is a 14-inch business-class laptop with thin and rugged design. It’s mostly made of aluminum, but also has soft-touch finishes and a powder-coated base.<\/p>\n

When you open up the Latitude 14 7000 E7440, apparent are the IPS-based anti-glare 1366×768 or 1920×1080 pixel screen depending on configuration, a full size backlit keyboard with a pointing stick in the middle of it and a trackpad with mechanical click buttons. Touchscreen input is optional. Inside the sturdy MIL-STD-810G spec tested chassis in black color and with 0.8″ profile, the laptop packs the latest Intel Haswell processors. Either the Core i3-4010U or Core i5-4300U. The latter is somewhat faster, but both are quite sufficient for almost every business-use scenario. They are accompanied by 4GB or 8GB of system memory, depending on customers choice. For data storage, there are a 500GB traditional hard disk or a 256GB solid state drive. A DVD drive has been omitted.<\/p>\n

The E7440 offers a plenty of ports, slots, and networking features to suite all business needs. There are Wi-Fi in either 802.11n or newer 802.11ac variant, Gigabit LAN, optional 4G LTE mobile connector, Bluetooth, three USBs at fast 3.0 speed, HDMI and mini Display Port video outputs, optional SmartCard reader, media card reader, a docking connector.<\/p>\n

Also worth mentioning are stereo speakers, 720p webcam, and a fingerprint reader.<\/p>\n
