HP Pavilion x2 10-k077nr Signature Edition 2 in 1 PC
The HP Pavilion x2 10-k077nr Signature Edition 2 in 1 PC 10.1-inch tablet with a detachable keyboard for a laptop-like experience is currently selling for $250, down from the regular price of $330. The Pavilion x2 10 easily transforms from a tablet to a laptop thanks to its magnetic cover with keyboard and trackpad built-in. The cover allows two viewing angles in the laptop mode, as shown in the images below. Speaking of viewing angles, the 1280×800-pixel display has IPS technology for better viewability from different angles.
Regarding computing speed, it is just a basic Intel Atom “Bay Trail” processor-powered 2-in-1. It is based on the Z3736F Atom and 2GB of RAM memory, good enough for the regular home and office computing tasks with light multitasking, multimedia consumption, and lowest-end gaming. Storage space on the HP Pavilion x2 10-k077nr Signature Edition is 32GB. In addition to this model, Microsoft also sells the 10-k088nr model with 64GB, which is a recommended choice. The 32GB variant has several limitations when it comes to storage space. 64GB isn’t big either for Windows PC standards, but isn’t as problematic as 32GB and the 10-k088nr costs only $30 more after instant savings.
The fairly big 35Whr battery and power efficient Bay Trail platform allow the device to last “up to 11.75” hours on a single charge, according to the specs sheet.
Alongside the ubiquitous front camera, stereo speakers, and a micro USB connector, the hybrid has a full-size USB 2.0 port, micro HDMI video output, an SD card reader are also present.
On the software side, there’s a free 1-year subscription for Office 365 Personal suite and a few Signature Edition-specific tweaks. The HP Pavilion x2 10-k077nr Signature Edition 2 in 1 PC is freed from annoying pre-installed trial-ware programs and it comes with a free security / anti-virus program out of the box.
