Dell Inspiron 13 7000 Series i7347-50sLV 13-Inch Convertible Touchscreen Laptop (Intel Core i3 Processor, 4GB RAM)
The Dell Inspiron 13 7000 Series i7347-50sLV 13-inch convertible touchscreen laptop with an Intel Core i3 processor, 4GB of RAM, and a 500GB hard drive offers a great usage flexibility and good day-to-day performance at an inexpensive price.
The most remarkable feature is the hinge design, which allows the notebook to be put in the tablet mode when you fold the hinge 360-degrees. Also, presentation and multimedia “tent” and “stand” models are supported. The i7347-50sLV and the whole Dell 7347 series also stand out with their built-in stylus pens, so pen note-taking and drawing on the screen are supported. True, the pen is just a simple passive one, with no advanced functionalities like on those for the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 and other higher-end tablet PCs with active-digitizer technology. Ten-finger multitouch input is also supported.
Windows 8.1 operating system and the display are driven by the i3-4010U lower-mid-range CPU and its Intel HD 4400 integrated graphics. Overall performance for both daily work and gaming is better on the i3 than on the widely used Intel Celeron and Pentium budget processors.
RAM and hard drive sizes of 4GB and 500GB are standard and expected at the sub-$500 price points. They’re satisfactory for everyday multitasking and storing files.
The screen resolution of 1366-by-768 pixels is also an average one, but as an advanced feature the panel has IPS wide-viewing angle technology. The i7347 series is also available with Full HD 1920×1080 resolution, but these models cost more.
The plastic-cladded 3.7-pound i7347 convertible notebook has a silver-colored 0.7″ thin chassis with a Chiclet-style spill-resistant backlit keyboard and spacious trackpad in the middle. It incorporates stereo speakers and a frontal web camera, full-size HDMI output, two USB 3.0 and a USB 2.0 port, and an SD/MMC media card reader.
Overall, if you want a cheap alternative to the Lenovo Yoga Pro with the same screen size, the i7347-50sLV is one of the options and costs half the Yoga’s price.

Ryan –
Definitely the worst laptop I have ever used. The laptop constantly keeps breaking. Here’s a list of all the problems I have had and all of the parts I have had to be replaced.
Hard drive (twice!)
Motherboard
The entire body of the laptop
The screen
And the WiFi constantly failed
Do not buy this laptop of any product that is made by Dell, I will never recommend Dell to anyone.

Mary –
I love this laptop but I cannot get the signature pad to work. It says it is working. I have spent hours on the line with dell support- (none of which spoke English) and could not get my question answered.
