The Lenovo Flex 14 81SS000DUS is a 14-inch 2-in-1 Windows laptop computer. It offers mid-tier components delivered in the popular 2-in-1 touch-screen PC form factor with fully foldable screen. The notebook has a fairly light weight of 3.5 pounds and features polished aluminum surfaces in black color.

Besides finger-touch input, the 14″ screen of the Lenovo Flex 14 81SS000DUS laptop / tablet hybrid has pen input support. An active digitizer pen is included in the package. The display sports a sharp Full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution and IPS technology for wide viewing angles.

Of course, you can also interact with the system via the convertible laptop’s keyboard and touchpad. The keyboard has backlight.

The notebook is based on the AMD Ryzen 5 3500U quad-core processor. It is a mid-range mainstream processor, similar to the more popular Intel Core i5 U series. The Ryzen 5 3500U is excellent for the routine PC chores. For instance, web browsing, text processing, spreadsheet calculations, or online video and music services. Furthermore, it has some potential for more demanding tasks, such as video and audio production. As for gaming, only lighter game titles will work decently smooth, since the integrated Radeon Vega 8 graphics is generally a basic graphics processor. As for multi-tasking ability, the included 12GB RAM is more than enough for comfortable use of multiple web browser tabs and apps at the same time. The laptop’s solid state drive storage capacity of 256GB isn’t that impressive. But, there’s still enough space on it for thousands of Office documents, hundreds of .mp3 songs, and even some high-resolution videos. And, SSD storage enables much snappier user experience than the traditional hard drive storage.

Lenovo rates the battery life of the Flex 14 81SS000DUS at “up to 10 hours”, although its battery capacity of 45 WHr isn’t extraordinary.
