Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 14 Business 2-in-1 Laptop

The Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 14 is a business convertible 2-in-1 laptop and tablet with premium-class specifications and features. It has a 14-inch Full HD display, an Intel Core-series processor, dedicated Nvidia graphics, and thin-and-light design.

The ThinkPad Yoga 14 is 0.8″ thin and weighs in at 4.2 pounds, making it one of the most portable 14-inchers. The 14″ 1080p display panel with 10-point input support is mounted on a 360-degree rotating hinge, enabling laptop, tablet, tent, and stand modes. The Chiclet-style backlit keyboard is also optimized for convertibility. It sports “lift-and-lock” technology, meaning the keyboard frame automatically rises and the keys lock when the device is in the tablet, tent and stand modes, eliminating accidental keystrokes and providing a more comfortable grip.

The notebook sports a durable and light magnesium-alloy chassis and scratch- and smudge-resistant Dragontrail display cover.

Main computing is done on the Intel Core i5-4210U dual-core processor, which is good for all daily tasks of the average business users and provides some extra power for heavy stuff like video editing. Graphics processing relies on the Nvidia GeForce 840M 2GB discrete video card, which is a lower-mid-range solution, but still much better than the usual Intel HD 4400 integrated graphics. For storing data, Lenovo has provided a 1-Terabyte hard drive which as 16GB of solid state-based storage for faster responsiveness.

The battery life is up to 8 hours, according to the manufacturer.

As for sound, the ThinkPad Yoga 14 features stereo speakers enhanced by Dolby Home Theater technology. Its set of ports and slots include two USB 3.0, one USB 2.0, HDMI output, combo headphone / mic jack, and a 4-in-1 card reader. Networking is supported via AC Wi-Fi wireless interface. Ethernet LAN is missing, but Bluetooth is present.
