Microsoft Surface 2 W5Y-00001 (64GB, 4G LTE)

The Surface 2 W5Y-00001 is the first 4G LTE enabled model in Microsoft’s tablet lineup and currently the only one supporting mobile broadband connectivity. This is basically a 64GB model with an added slot for AT&T’s 4G SIM card, while in other aspects it doesn’t differ from its Wi-Fi-only sibling. Besides RT version of Windows 8 without support for the traditional Windows programs, a 10.6″ touch 1080p display, the Nvidia Tegra 4 processing technology, and 2GB of RAM memory, the W5Y-00001 sports front and rear cameras, stereo speakers, and a built-in kickstand. As an extra, the Surface 2 tablets, including this model, come with a free copy of Office 2013 RT. Other goodies are 1 year of unlimited free voice calling via Skype to landlines in over 60 countries, free Skype Wi-Fi “at over 2 million hotspots worldwide”, and 200GB of additional OneDrive cloud storage for 2 years.
