Everex Stepnote VA4101M, priced at $498, is the first available sub-$500 notebook with Windows Vista operating system.
The 15.4-inch widescreen Stepnote VA4101M comes with Windows Vista Home Basic Edition preinstalled and it’s powered by Intel Celeron M Processor at 1.46GHz. It has 512MB of DDR2 533 SDRAM memory, which is upgradeable to up to 2GB. Everex Stepnote VA4101M incorporates VIA Chrome9 HC integrated graphics which powers the screen with 1280 x 800 maximal resolution and shares up to 128MB of system memory. It ships with 60GB hard drive and a DVD burner.
The VA4101M provides 802.11b/g wireless connection, Ethernet LAN and a built-In 56k modem, and features three USB ports and a VGA out.
The notebook weights 5.9lbs. There is no info on battery life.

this notebook is a piece of crap battery life is one hour orless i have 2 of them and they both broke within a month of getting them and everex is absolutely no help what so ever save your money and dont buy this piece of junk
