Hewlett-Packard has launched the Compaq 515 and Compaq 610 notebooks that belong to their Essential business lineup.
The Compaq 515 has a 14.1-inch display, an AMD Athlon X2 or Turion X2 processor, and the ATI Radeon HD 3200 integrated graphics. It comes with up to 3GB of DDR2 memory, up to 250GB of hard drive space, and a DVD burner. The 15.6-inch Compaq 610 is available with an Intel Core 2 Duo or Celeron Dual-Core processor, Intel’s GMA X3100 integrated GPU, up to 3GB of DDR2 RAM, a 250GB HDD, and a DVD burner.
The displays on both laptops feature LED backlight and a resolution of 1366×768 pixels.
HP’s new budget business laptops sport a mono speaker and a microphone, WiFi and Ethernet LAN connections, three USB ports, ExpressCard and secure digital card slots, and a VGA output. Select Compaq 515 and 610 models include a built in web camera.
The 515 and 610 start at 5lbs and 5.5lbs respectively with their standard 6-cell batteries.

The site says they will be available with suse linux but nobody sell them. Is this some kind of weird torture?
