The MSI X-Slim X320, “the world’s lightest and slimmest 13-inch notebook”, is now available in the United States.
Newegg and Mwave sell the X320-037US model with the Intel Atom Z530 1.6GHz CPU, 2GB RAM, a 250GB HDD, a 4-cell battery and Windows Vista Home Premium OS. The 2.8-pound laptop, that measures only 6mm at its thinnest and 20mm at its widest point, is based on the Intel Menlow US15W chipset with the GMA 500 integrated graphics and doesn’t include an optical drive.
The 13″ 16:9 glare type display has a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels and uses LED backlight.
MSI’s X320 also sports a 1.3MP web camera, stereo speakers, 802.11n WiFi, Bluetooth, an Ethernet LAN port, three USB ports, a 2-in-1 media card reader, and a VGA output.
The laptop is priced at $599 (Newegg | Mwave).
