Fujitsu LifeBook A6030, the Company’s first Intel “Santa Rosa”-based laptop in mainstream A series, is now available for purchase.
The Intel Centrino Duo LifeBook A6030 15.4-inch widescreen laptop is built on GM965 chipset providing 800MHz front side bus and the integrated Graphics Media Accelerator X3100. It is offered with Intel Core 2 Duo T7300 processor at 2.0GHz or T7100 at 1.8GHz. The A6030’s display resolution is 1280×800. This notebook supports up to 4GB system memory, and has up to 120GB hard drive storage capacity, as well as a DVD burner. The PC maker also provides the controversial Intel Turbo Memory option in A6030 notebooks with Windows Vista Business OS preloaded.
Fujitsu Lifebook A6030 has wireless LAN module supporting the latest 802.11n draft Wi-Fi standard, Gigabit Ethernet, a 56k modem, and Bluetooth. Other features include both ExpressCard and PC Card slots, five USB ports, a four-in-one media card reader, VGA and S-Video outputs, Firewire, and a fingerprint reader.
The notebook also incorporates the innovative Point and Write Pad technology, enabling short note-taking and handwriting recognition using laptop’s touch pad and stylus under the Windows Vista.
The A6030 weighs 6.6 pounds and provides continuous operation between charges of up to 3.5 hours with a standard 6-cell battery.
This “Santa Rosa” laptop comes with Windows Vista operating system, and starts at $1,299 at Fujitsu’s Direct Store.
Correction: This notebook does not support 1440×900 display resolution and does not ship with Windows XP operating system.

I wanted to make a correction to some details
first of all Fujitsu A6030 monitor does NOT support resolution higher than 1280×800 and comes ONLY with Vista OS and there is absolutely no support for windows XP
so not sure where you guys got that information from???
