The Asus Q525UA-BI7T9 is a well-equipped 2-in-1 laptop PC. The sandblasted matte black aluminum-topped convertible has a 15.6-inch Full HD touch-screen with IPS wide viewing angles. The display is mounted on a pair of 360-degree rotating hinges. For interaction with software, you can also use the notebook’s backlit keyboard and touchpad with integrated click buttons. And for easier system log-ins, you can use the notebook’s fingerprint reader, which is embedded in the upper-right corner of the touchpad. Internally, the 4.2-pound Asus Q525UA-BI7T9 features one of the fastest laptop processors on the market, the quad-core 8th Gen Intel Core i7-8550U with Intel UHD 620 integrated graphics. It’s paired with big system memory of 16GB and a very capacious 2-Terabyte hard drive. According to Asus, the built-in 3-cell battery can deliver “up to 6 hours” of battery life.
The Q525UA-BI7T9 is regularly priced at around $900 in online stores. As a side note, for around $500 more you can get a beefed up version of the laptop. It’s the Q535UD-BI7T11 with sharper Ultra HD screen resolution, the Nvidia GeForce 1050 video card for smoother gaming, additional 256GB solid state drive for better system responsiveness, and support for Thunderbolt 3.0 peripheral devices.

It doesn’t have a Thunderbolt port, unfortunately. The existing USB-C port isn’t Thunderbolt-compatible.
