Dell Inspiron I7579-0028GRY 2-in-1 15.6″ Touch-Screen Laptop (Intel i5, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD, Gray)

The Dell Inspiron I7579-0028GRY is a 15.6-inch 2-in-1 notebook PC. It belongs to the higher-end of 2-in-1 “band-back” laptop category. It provides excellent internal components like the latest 7th Generation Intel Core i5-7200U processor with the Intel HD 620 graphics, large RAM of 8GB, and a fast and decently-sized 256GB solid state drive with Windows 10 Home on it. Also, the multi-touch display has admirable specifications, including Full HD 1920×1080-pixel resolution and IPS-backed wide viewing angles. This relatively light 4.8 pound 15.6″ 2-in-1 laptop looks good, too. It has a gray aluminum finish on the palmrest and lid and a very sleek profile of 0.7″.

The Dell Inspiron I7579-0028GRY lacks a built-in DVD drive and a numeric pad on the keyboard, but includes backlight beneath the keyboard keys and all important notebook features. It has stereo speakers, a web camera, 802.11AC Wi-Fi wireless and Bluetooth connections, HDMI video out, an SD media card reader, and a combo microphone / headphones port. There are three USB ports. In particular one USB-C port, one USB 3.0, and a USB 2.0 port.

As for battery, the I7579-0028GRY sports a medium-size 42 WHr unit. There’s no info on battery life for this laptop model, but Dell claims the i7579 series laptops can provide “up to 8.25 hours” of power autonomy (most likely measured with very light load and low screen brightness).

Sub-$700 price tags of this model on the current market are quite affordable considering the specs and looks of the notebook.
