Hi, what editing applications? Video or high-res photo editing are more demanding, while text and spreadsheet editing are light tasks. Nevertheless, both the Intel i5 and i7 processor options are excellent for the daily computing tasks and also decent for photo / video editing. General schoolwork is usually light, so these processors are excellent in that regard too.
I would only avoid getting a configuration of the notebook with a hard disk drive instead of a solid state drive (much better performance in the real world use) and avoid the TN type (“standard viewing angle” or narrow viewing angle) screen option. IPS is much better in terms of screen quality.
