    Hillary Hays –

    I was talking to my son on Facebook Messenger and on Skype on his new HP laptop 17t-cg000 when suddenly I couldn’t hear him. He could still hear me. What is the key he accidentally pressed that would do this? I have looked online and can’t figure it out. Thanks, Hillary H.

    • Dan –

      In the top row of the keyboards on HP laptops there’s usually a microphone mute button marked with a crossed microphone mark. On my laptop it is shared with the f8 key in the top row, just above the number 8 key.
