The HP Pavilion 15z (5MU54AV_1, 2019) is a mid-range Windows laptop with a touch-enabled display as a standout feature. The 5MU54AV_1 is a configurable model on the HP Store.
The touch-screen can be either an HD TN panel or a Full HD IPS panel with better picture sharpness and wider viewing angles.
Instead of more common Intel processors, the HP Pavilion 15z 5MU54AV_1 incorporates AMD processor options – the Ryzen 5 3500U or Ryzen 7 3700U. Both processors are sufficient for completely smooth completion of the daily home and office computing tasks, with the Ryzen 7 being slightly faster. They are also good solutions for occasional heavier tasks like video and photo edits, but still they are not workstation-class processors. The chips include the AMD Radeon Vega integrated graphics processors (Vega 8 on the Ryzen 5 and slightly better Vega 10 on Ryzen 7) that enable you to play light PC games and some more demanding titles on low detail settings. RAM size is 16GB which is a plenty for comfortable multi-tasking. Data storage options include a 265GB or a 512GB solid state drive, or you can select a combo of a small 128GB SSD and a capacious 1TB hard drive for a good balance between speed and storage space.
The notebook comes with a 41 WHr battery. That’s a mediocre capacity, but it should provide at least around 5 hours of autonomy with lighter laptop use.
Another important feature is keyboard backlight, but it is only optional.
Question

Yes. You can use a wired mouse with a USB connector or a wireless mouse. Most wireless mice require a Bluetooth connection, which this notebook model has. But, to make sure, check the specs of your particular laptop to see if there’s Bluetooth for sure. Another wireless option is a wireless mouse with its own wireless signal and a USB stick which you insert into one of the USB ports to enable it to communicate with the laptop.
