HP ProBook 440 G1 (Configurable)
The HP ProBook 440 G1 is a 14-inch laptop aimed at small businesses. As opposed to the 640 G1 for larger companies, the ProBook 440 G1 lacks some advanced features such as Intel vPro system management technology, but retains optional fingerprint reader, anti-glare display coating, and spill resistant keyboard. Another similar model worth mentioning is the larger sibling of the 440, the 450 G1 with a 15.6-inch display and numeric pad on the keyboard as the main differences.
The notebook is based on the Intel “Haswell” processors from 2013, ranging from the basic Pentium to high-end Core i7. It comes with up to 1TB or hard drive space and up to 16GB of RAM memory, which are more than sufficient for all business-use scenarios. There’s a DVD burner, stereo speakers, and video chat camera built-in. The display, which comes only in the mediocre 1366×768 variant, is managed by either the Intel HD 4600 on-processor graphics or an AMD Radeon HD dedicated video card.
Connectivity and networking of the HP 440 G1 are helped by four USB connectors, HDMI and VGA video output ports, a media card reader, Wi-Fi, Gigabit LAN, Bluetooth, and optionally 4G wireless mobile broadband.
The laptop has an aluminum keyboard base in silver color, while the display lid finish is rubberized soft-touch.

Performance depends on a configuration, with those with the quad-core i7 and AMD Radeon graphics being the best of them. The optional Radeon HD 8750M isn’t a gaming-class video card, but it can help with getting better frame rates than the standard Intel HD 4400 integrated graphics. The HD 8750M belongs to the lower-end segment of laptop GPU spectrum. For the best video editing experience, you should definitely get the quad-core i7 and eventually the Radeon card if your video editing software supports GPU acceleration.
