HP Spectre x360 13t 7AL88AV_1 / 8NS97AV_1 (2019) Premium 2-in-1 Ultra-Portable
The HP Spectre x360 13t 7AL88AV_1 / 8NS97AV_1 is a compact 2-in-1 convertible laptop with premium-class specs and looks. The lightweight 2.9-pound notebook features a 13.3-inch touch-screen on fully rotating hinges that enable additional tablet, tent, and stand modes. There are two display options – a traditional Full HD panel based on LCD technology or sharper 4K UHD panel based on AMOLED technology with outstandingly deep black color. Both displays provide wide viewing angles and support active digitizer pen input.
The Spectre x360 13t 7AL88AV_1 / 8NS97AV_1 features the 10th Generation Intel Core i5-1035G4 or i7-1065G7 processor. Both are very fast quad-core processors when it comes to the regular home and office tasks. They also have some great potential for heavier duties like video editing, too. The biggest difference between the Core i5-1035G4 and i7-1065G7 are their integrated graphics processors. The Iris Plus G7 graphics in the i7 chip is noticeably faster than the Iris Plus G4 in the i5, delivering better gaming performance. But overall, both of the integrated graphics processors are suitable only for light gaming.
The laptop ships with fast internal solid state drive storage, offering a great maximum data storing capacity of 2 Terabytes. HP also offers the Intel Optane memory add-on for additional data storage speed boost. Besides the basic 8GB system memory option, the Spectre x360 13t 7AL88AV_1 / 8NS97AV_1 can be also configured with 16GB for a greater multi-tasking capability.
The battery capacity of 60 WHr is great for a notebook with the mentioned components and screen size, but there’s no info on battery life in the specs sheets of the 7AL88AV_1 / 8NS97AV_1.
As stand-out features, the 2-in-1 laptop has a built-in fingerprint reader and Thunderbolt 3.0 advanced input / output technology.
As for the differences between the 7AL88AV_1 and 8NS97AV_1, they are basically the same laptop but with different starting configurations. The base 7AL88AV_1 configuration features the Core i5 CPU and a 256GB solid state drive, whereas the basic 8NS97AV_1 features the i7 chip and a 512GB SSD.
HP also offers a larger version of the laptop. It’s the 15.6-inch Spectre x360 15t 8NW68AV_1.

Question
Varun –
Is there no other difference between the 2 models? Because if I am bringing them both to the same configuration the 7AL88AV_1 is costing me $200 less than the 8NS97AV_1

Hi, it’s best to check that with HP via their support. In my personal experience, it is possible that sometimes two identical configurations have different prices and that even worse configurations are pricier than better ones of the same laptop. But please check that with HP and also if there are maybe accessories included with the pricier one, such as a digitizer pen.
