HP Spectre x360 15t 8NW68AV_1 (2019) Premium-Class 2-in-1 PC
The HP Spectre x360 15t 8NW68AV_1 is one of the versions of the HP’s Spectre x360 premium-class convertible 2-in-1 laptop. The Spectre x360 has a multi-touch display mounted on a pair of 360-degree rotating hinges, so it can be used as a standard laptop or converted to tablet, stand, and tent modes. The 15t 8NW68AV_1, released as a configurable model on the HP Store in late 2019, has a 15.6-inch screen with extremely sharp Ultra HD / 4K display resolution, wide viewing angles, and support for active digitizer pen input. Optionally, you can select AMOLED screen option with deeper blacks and low power consumption than the standard LCD screen.
The 4.8-pound HP Spectre 15t x360 8NW68AV_1 boasts the 10th Generation Intel Core i7-10510U processor. It is more than capable when it comes to the daily home and office computing tasks. It is also very good for heavier duties like high-resolution image editing or video editing, although it isn’t a workstation-class CPU. The Spectre 15t x360 8NW68AV_1 features the Nvidia GeForce MX250 2GB dedicated video card. It enables smoother gaming than the common integrated graphics processors, like the Intel UHD series. Still the MX250 is far slower than the full-blown gaming class video cards, such as those from the GeForce GTX and RTX series.
As expected, this premium 2-in-1 PC doesn’t use slow mechanical hard drive data storage. Instead, the 8NW68AV_1 comes with fast solid state drive storage, with a huge maximum capacity of 2 Terabytes. In addition, there’s an Intel Optane memory option for further data storage speed improvement. As for the main system memory, responsible for multi-tasking ability of the laptop, the notebook comes with 16 Gigabytes of it. It’s quite capacious and enough for all multi-tasking scenarios of the regular laptop user.
The HP Spectre 15t x360 8NW68AV_1 also shines in the battery department. The laptop includes a large 84 WHr battery. HP claims the battery in this system can provide more than 12 hours of run time on a charge.
Other features worth mentioning are the notebook’s built-in fingerprint reader, face-recognition camera, and Thunderbolt 3.0 advanced input / output technology.
