Lenovo IdeaPad 110-15ACL 80TJ00LRUS Cheap 15.6″ Laptop (AMD A6 CPU, 4GB RAM, 500GB HDD, Black)

Lenovo IdeaPad 110-15ACL 80TJ00LRUS 15.6 Laptop (AMD A6-Series CPU, Radeon R4, 4GB RAM, 500GB HDD, Black)

The Lenovo IdeaPad 110-15ACL 80TJ00LRUS is a very affordable full-size laptop computer with Windows 10 operating system. This sub-$250 machine features a regular budget-class 15.6-inch 1366-by-768-pixel non-touch display, the mid-tier AMD A6-series processor, basic system memory and hard drive capacities of 4GB and 500GB, respectively, and a built-in DVD drive. They are encased in a matte black plastic chassis with a full-size keyboard with numeric pad.

The included AMD A6-7310 processor is capable of handling the usual home and office PC tasks. Without hiccups, you’ll be able to browse the web, work in programs like text and spreadsheet editors, watch movies, listen to music, and do other lighter tasks. It however isn’t an ideal solution for heavier load like video editing or music production. For these you’ll need a more powerful CPU like Intel’s Core i7-series. On the Lenovo IdeaPad 110-15ACL 80TJ00LRUS you can also play some casual games thanks to the Radeon R4 graphics which is integrated in the main processor. But, the latest hardware-demanding titles are out of question. System memory size of 4GB is big enough for moderate multi-tasking. The 500GB hard drive size is the most basic on today’s laptop market, but it’s big enough for storing documents and pictures, as well as for tens of high-def movies or hundreds of .mp3 audio files.

Furthermore, the 110-15ACL 80TJ00LRUS includes a standard notebook PC feature set. It sports stereo speakers, a web-chat camera, 802.11AC Wi-Fi wireless and Ethernet LAN for getting you online, Bluetooth interface, one USB 2.0 port and one faster USB 3.0, HDMI video output port, a microphone / headphones jack, and a multi-format media card reader.

The laptop’s battery has a relatively small capacity of 32 WHr. According to Lenovo, it can provide 3 hours of battery life.

The notebook weighs in at 4.8 pounds.

Overall, the Lenovo 110-15ACL 80TJ00LRUS certainly isn’t an impressive 2017 laptop. It lack many usable features like a sharp Full HD screen, IPS display technology for wide viewing angles, keyboard backlight, or a fast solid state drive storage device. But, it’s one of the best performing laptops in the 250-dollar category. For sure, it’s a model of choice for many budget-savvy laptop shoppers who want a decent performance for ordinary day-to-day tasks.

  1. Darrel – October 11, 2017:

Not a bad laptop for the price, a bit on the sliggish side for any gaming but the 500gb hard drive is nice for again the price range. I do have a question about upgrading the ram to 8gb. Ive found split results when looking, some say yes some say no but I can’t even find the laptop on the Lenovo website. If anyone could help me with this question it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    • Seth – March 9, 2018:

There’s a guy that explains it all here. Lenovo doesn’t suggest upgrading the RAM beyond 8GB. This guy show you in the Lenovo factory maintenance manual, and what brands/ model RAMs that Lenovo suggests for this and other 110-14 and 110-15 machines.

Your comment was from back in October of 2017, so I wouldn’t be surprised if you already found your answer and did your upgrade though.

Just sharing if you had never found yourself a definitive answer, and for anyone else who may stumble upon this page searching the same or similar question…
