    I want to increase my drive capacity by adding one more SSD or HHD cant it possible?
    I want to add 512GB SSD without replacing 256GB or add 1TB HHD.

      Hi, according to the official specs this model supports:

      “up to two drives, 1x 2.5″ HDD + 1x M.2 2242/2280 SSD
      • 2.5″ HDD up to 1TB
      • M.2 2280 SSD up to 1TB
      • M.2 2242 SSD up to 512GB”.

      So there’s a single bay for a 2.5″ HDD or SSD and a single M.2 slot for compatible SSDs.

    Can the 256gb Ssd be upgraded to 512?

      Hi, the 81WE00NKUS configuration belongs to the Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15 15IIL05 which features an M.2 SSD slot. You can access the slot by removing the bottom panel and replace the existing 256GB SSD.

    can it be booted from usb such as to run linux ?

      Yes, but you will need to enter the bios and set the first boot option to usb. You will also need to make the usb drive bootable, you can find tutorials for this online.
