Toshiba Radius 11 L15W-B1302 11.6″ 2-in-1 Laptop
The Toshiba Radius 11 L15W-B1302 from the consumer-class Satellite series is one of many ultraportable notebook models with a fully rotatable hinge, enabling multiple usage modes including laptop, tablet, and multimedia / presentation options.
To put the 11.6-incher in a greater scheme of things, let’s mention some of its direct competitors: HP Pavilion x360 11, Dell 11 3000, Lenovo Yoga 2 11. Specs-wise the Toshiba is closest to the HP, because they lack IPS wide viewing angle technology. It’s their main drawback in comparison to the Dell and Lenovo.
In other aspects, the laptops are quite similar and sport entry-level internal components, plastic cases, and standard but mediocre screen resolution of 1366×768 pixels. The L15W-B1302 model in particular is based on the Intel Celeron N2840 dual-core processor with acceptable speed for non-demanding daily tasks and occasional low-end gaming. The device has 4GB of internal memory and a 500GB hard drive, which are both averagely-sized and satisfactory for the daily use.

Other notable items on the specs list are a chiclet keyboard, pointing pad with real left and right click buttons, stereo speakers, a 720p web camera mounted on the front of the LCD panel, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, a USB 3.0 and a USB 2.0 port, HDMI video output, and a multi-format media card reader. Overall, a modest but well selected feature set with the most important ones included. As an additional perk, Toshiba’s L15W-B1302 sports Intel’s Wi-Di technology for wireless video connection to TVs and monitors with a help of a separately sold adapter.
The 2-in-1 is characterized by good portability as a laptop, but also bulkiness when you use it as a standard tablet. It weighs 2.9 pounds and is 0.9″ thick.
Toshiba says the battery life on this Radius model lasts up to 5 hours and 15 minutes.

Note: This computer will be on sale at Best Buy on Black Friday (actually starting a day earlier) for $329.99, after $20.00 instant off.

Nice computer but the 8.1 OS makes it useless for us can’t get past start-up when Toshiba and others start dump software into it. It’s on the way back to the store. We will wait until there is a usable OS system out there to replace our XP machines.

I went out and bought Toshiba Chromebook 2 and thought it was nice.Like the ISP and the thinness of the book. When I was looking around the internet I saw Toshiba came out with The Radius satellite with the 11.6 and weighs a little less than the Chromebook 2 and has 500gb I went back to the store played with it and decided to return the Chromebook 2 and get the Radius computer.Best move I ever made love everything about it except one detail. I don’t like how sluggish the keypad is. Not as smooth as the Chromebook 2 is. Feels a little resistance and you have to really be sure click it really hard. Overall good computer for its size and weight. I also love how you can flip the screen over 360 degrees and use it as a tablet and also how you can stand it up when you flip the screen 90 degrees. I recommend the Radius 11.6 !
