Toshiba Satellite C55D-B5206 Notebook with AMD A8 & 750GB HDD

The Toshiba Satellite C55D-B5206 notebook PC from the budget 15.6-inch C55 series offers decent performance and large data storage space. Equipped with the with the AMD A8-6410 quad-core processor and 4GB of RAM, the C55D-B5206 is able to crunch everyday tasks with ease. The A8-6410 has a PassMark benchmark score of around 2,600 points, so its performance is line with the popular Intel Core i3 “U” series chips. On the other hand, 4GB RAM ensures that system memory won’t be a performance bottleneck, since it’s large enough to support multitasking of the average user with no hiccups. The Radeon R5 graphics processor incorporated in the A8 chip offers similar performance to the widely adopted Intel HD 4400 IGP of the Intel Core i3, i5, and i7 series processors. This practically means the R5 is able to run newer games, but only on significantly lowered detail and resolution settings.

As same as the numerous 15.6-inch laptop models with affordable prices, the C55D-B5206 has the low-end 1366-by-768 resolution. Therefore, the display will lack picture sharpness of the more expensive Full HD notebooks. IPS wide viewing angle and touchscreen technologies are omitted on this screen.
